ARTIST STATEMENT

Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of becoming an artist—a career many warned me was unattainable. I was encouraged to choose the safer, more conventional path toward adulthood.

I listened. I went to college and earned a degree only to graduate realizing I had little desire to pursue the career path I had studied for. The dream of becoming an artist, however, never left me.

So, I chose to listen to it.

Art has given me the opportunity to embrace my dreams and create work that feels genuine to me.

To everyone who has supported my work, trusted me with painting your beloved pets, and encouraged me along the way—thank you. Your support has made this journey possible, and I am so grateful to be building a life around something that I love.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”
